Day 1: Road Trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

It begins with your early breakfast meet with your guide, start the drive to south western Uganda. First stop will be at the equator for photos and the famous water experiment to prove that you are standing in the middle of the earth. Lunch break will be in Mbarara town and after you will continue with your journey to Bwindi forest, dinner and overnight lodge in the forest.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast, you’ll drive for a few minutes to the park offices for registration and briefing. Here you will be divided into groups each consisting of 8 people only and this is the limited number allowed for each gorilla family per day. Gorilla tracking is a once in a life time experience of getting closer to these primates and looking them in the eyes is the best moment ever. The walk through this thick forest is just beautiful with lots of birds, lots of monkeys and different tree species, gorilla tracking takes between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas as they feed on a given day. You will carry a lunch box and drinking water, depending on the time you come back we can have a community walk or visit the pigmy village.

Day 3: Drive Back to Kampala

After breakfast, we start the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe airport. Lunch on the way and a stop at the craft shops for some gifts.

The tour package includes:

  • Gorilla Permit.
  • Entertainment.
  • Park Ranger Fees.
  • Bottled drinking water in the vehicle.
  • Full Board Accommodation.
  • Full-time English speaking Driver/Guide.
  • Ground Transportation by a safari vehicle.
  • Airport transfer, as long as your flight is on the same day on which the safari ends.

The tour package excludes:

  • Airfares.
  • Visa Fees.
  • Personal Insurance.
  • Expenses of personal nature such as; drinks, tips, laundry, telephone, cigarettes, accommodation & meals not indicated in the itinerary and optional activities.
